Making the decison

Everytime I chat to a bride I realise the number of decisions there have to be made before the BiG day.

The date, the venue, the number of guests, the menu,the entertainment, but of course to me and I think for my brides the dress is one of the BiG decisions. Anything I can do to help the bride make her decision I will try. It is not always obvious.

 To start what shape suits best.

 A fuller style skirt or a more fitted figure hugging style.

Should there be a veil, what way should your hair be.

Do you need something to cover you up or to keep you warm?

Or something different?

And something personal.

And if we haven't got what you are looking for I can just make it for you.

Once you are happy I know I have done my job correctly.

The latest Christening robe

Thanks to Ruth for the fabulous photo of Jessica in her robe.

  It is made in silk duopion with tiny pin tucking and a raised lace detail on the bodice ,sleeves and around the hem.

To add to the personal touch we have Jessica's name and date embroidered so that in year's to come
it can be added to and will show who all wore it over the years.

I just wanted to drop you an email to tell you how great you are as a designer and dressmaker!!  I was so delighted when I first came to see you as you were the first person to actually listen to what I wanted for my wedding dress and I had a short time frame which was never a problem for you.  I had an idea in my head and you made that possible, and my happiness with my dress was the priority throughout!    

You know what it means for a bride to feel good in what she wears on her wedding day... that is very clear.   Never once did you make me feel that my ideas were not possible.  THANK YOU!    You take all the fuss out of it!  Never once was I stressed about it after I came to see you!   I certainly will spread the word about you because you are fantastic!!!

Quick catch up

Thought I would quickly show you some of my photos of the fashion show we did.

This outfit did it again, it seemed to steel the show!

My Mother of the bride outfits stood out for their brightness of colour 

I did my best to show off my accessories to match and the models did brilliantly coping with the stairs.

I do hope the choice of dresses I took showed people that I know what is on trend but I like to dare to be different too.

It is difficult to take good photos
