What's on trend for 2015

We have just had New York and London Fashion Week and I am always keen to keep up with what is on trend.
It seems to me that colour is having an influence on the Bridal world. There seems like a move towards a hint of colour under layers right through to strong colours embroidered onto fabrics.
Still lots of lace embellished with flowers

Less is More.

Tulle skirts with embroidered embellishment.

3 di flowers layering up the look.

Silk flower garlands on the head and on the dress.

Sparkly belts and coloured belts, ability to change the look from day to night.

Transparant necklines enhanced with detail.

Back detail and low "V"s

Draped beads and caplets

Damask and brocaded fabrics embellished with embroidery.

Lots of colour.

2Di & 3 Dimensional colour
Subtle skin tone & blush colour under lace.
Right through to lots of colour on top of layers

So at the moment there is lots to choose from and that will encourage more brides to be original  and pick what suits them and what they want for there Big Day.

The trend for 2014

It is the Year of the Horse in more ways than one. It seems the trendy accessory is a horse. It has been years since I was near a horse but this year I seem to keep being inspired by them. Alexander McQueen did the most brilliant shoot with a beautiful black  horse and Alice Temperley did a fabulous shoot with her friends in a field and so the idea was planted. I had meet some ambitious girls who's Mum was an "Old" bride of mine and before I knew it the girls had inspired me to have a go with the horses and the camera.

Thankfully the day we all got together was perfect. The sun was shining and everything was a joy. It was a worry working with horses and my wedding dresses but everyone that there made it possible. I think because everyone from the models to the photographer all knew how to work best with horses and the fact that the horses and the girls and our one male model all were just brilliant.
